About the Symposium
The CHA Owner Symposium was first held in 2008 to educate property owners who already were participating in, or were interested in, the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. Since then, the Symposium has steadily grown into the premier event for Chicago property owners, managers and real estate investors.

When and where will the 2019 Owner Symposium be held?
The Owner Symposium will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, 2233 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Chicago, IL 60616.
Who should attend the Owner Symposium?
Property owners, property managers, real estate brokers and real estate investors with rental property throughout Chicago's 77 communities; property owners/managers who currently participate in CHA's HCV Program or want to learn more about how it works; and, individuals and companies interested in seeing how they can improve their community and their business through general property management techniques.
Note: The Owner Symposium is not open to HCV Program participants.
Do I need to register for the Owner Symposium?
Yes. However, advance registration is required and registration closed on Friday, September 13th. On-site registration will not be available.
Note: There is no fee charged to register. However, please consider the cost and work involved to host this type of event. If your plans change after you register and you aren't able to join us on September 28, please make sure to cancel your registration in the system.
Is there parking available?
Yes, in part due to the generous support of our parking sponsor, BMO Harris, self-parking is available in the hotel's parking garage (at the attendee's own expense) for a discounted rate of $14.00.
Note: The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place is also easily accessible via public transportation as it is within reasonable walking distance from the Chicago-Chinatown (Red Line) and Cermak-McCormick Place (Green Line) CTA 'L' stations, as well as the Metra McCormick Place Station (Electric District). In addition, the #3 King Drive CTA bus stops directly in front of the hotel.
Will food be provided?
A continental breakfast, plated lunch and afternoon snack bag will be provided for pre-registered attendees. Beverages will also be available throughout the day.

Are children allowed to attend?
This is a professional educational and networking event and therefore, accommodations have not been made for children. All attendees are advised to make their own childcare arrangements prior to attending.
